Easter Half-term Opportunities:

We are delighted to be able to offer an exciting opportunities for This Is Us Dance Company this half-term. We hope that these opportunities allow our dancers to continue their creative practice during the half-term holiday.

Junior Choreography Workshop

Thursday 11th April 2024 | 10:30am - 12:00pm

Have you ever wondered how our performance pieces come together? Or, how your favourite dance scenes in shows are made? Well... Join us for some Easter fun as we begin piecing together our first ideas for the new This Is Us piece “Love Our World”.

We have been trying out ideas all term, but this workshop will allow you to understand how choreography comes together. What it means to “choreograph”, what skills we need and how we can work together as a team to create a new piece.

You are more than welcome to bring a friend to this workshop. If you are keen to do this, please make sure that you book two spaces and let us know the name of the additional dancer attending upon checking out. This way, Jan will be able to send you the appropriate registration form for that dancer.

Venue: Bishops Down Primary School.

Fee: £12.50 (per dancer)

What to wear: Please wear comfortable clothes to dance in. You do not have to wear your uniform.

What to bring: A snack and water bottle.
